Starr King Parent-Child Workshop

Is an exciting place. Guided by child-development professionals, parents learn with their children and see their child's world expand. Together they explore and experiment in the rich environment Starr King offers.

For more than 59 years, Starr King has attracted a multiethnic cross section of parents wanting to share in the precious preschool years of their children, and who are interested in being actively involved in their children's learning, and in developing their own parenting skills cooperatively with other parents.

The Continuing Education division of Santa Barbara City College sponsors the Starr King program. We accept children ages 2 years 9 months to 5 in our morning program. They may attend two, three or four mornings a week depending on their age. Visits to the school are encouraged. Please arrange by calling the school at (805) 966-1325.
